What do you think?  Under New Labour, has the NHS improved, worsened or stayed the same?

What do you think about Gordon Brown as next PM?  Do you think he's going to deliver on his promise to make the NHS his priority?

I'm not so sure, but I think it's positive that the new PM is already feeling thye need to say how committed he is to the NHS.  I would be interested in knowing what other people think!

Well, we'll see about Gordon Brown.  Everyone seems to have something to say about him but I'd rather let his policies and decisions speak for themselves.  As you say, at least he's made a positive start by highlighting the need for action on the NHS...campaigners need to keep up the pressure and make sure he is listening to the public.

I was a bit surprised with Alan Johnson being assigned the responsibility for Health but I think it's a wise move and shows Brown's desire to at least appear to be changing direction on health policy.
